This dataset contains a timeseries of pressure (dbar), sea pressure (dbar), and depth (m), within the inner regions of four UK estuaries: Conwy, Dyfi, Milford Haven and Kent. Data was collected between 2020 and 2023. The temporal resolution is either 1s or 10 s. Specific information on the data locations, deployment methods, units and reference levels, data structure, and quality control can be found in the accompanying supporting documentation (read_me.docx). Full details about this dataset can be found at https://doi.org/10.5285/84600f32-b4e8-4f29-851a-5ed0cd8ec9a4

Continuous measurements of conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature and water level from the Frome Piddle; Pang Lambourn and Tern catchments, recorded between 2002 and 2007. YSI sondes were installed at 16 sites in these catchments to record continuous measurements of conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH and temperature. Druck pressure transducers were installed at the same sites to measure continuous water level values. The instruments were installed as part of the NERC funded Lowland Catchment Research (LOCAR) Programme to provide comparable baseline river water chemistry data across the LOCAR catchments. Data were collected continuously at 15-minutes intervals for periods of variable length, depending on site. This dataset represents the hydro-meteorological monitoring activities undertaken in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, during 2016-2018, as part of the DFID funded AMMA-2050 (African Monsoon Multidisciplinary Analysis) project (amma2050.org). The data comprises time series of rainfall, water level and river flow recorded at locations across Ouagadougou city for the purposes of building an understanding of hydrological function and hydrological model development. In-situ data were collected using tipping bucket raingauges and pressure level sensors, with spot gauging of river flows used to develop rating curves used to derive flow from level measurements in channels. The network was designed and set-up by the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (UKCEH) and maintained by the Institut International D'ingénierie De L'eau Et De L'environnement (2iE) and processing was undertaken by UKCEH. [This dataset is embargoed until August 31, 2026]. This dataset includes measurements of groundwater levels, salinity, and pH collected from 36 dug wells, along with rainfall data, on the Indian Ocean island of Karainagar, Sri Lanka, spanning the period from 2019 to 2024. Karainagar, the study area, is one of seven islands located off the coast of Jaffna in northern Sri Lanka. This rectangular island is bounded on three sides by the Palk Strait, while the fourth side faces the Jaffna Lagoon and is connected to the mainland by a causeway. Karainagar covers an area of approximately 22 km², including inland water bodies. Thirty-six dug wells—used for agricultural, domestic, Kovil (Temple), and public purposes—were inventoried. These wells were monitored to track groundwater levels and key physicochemical parameters, specifically salinity (measured as electrical conductivity, EC) and pH, on Karainagar Island.
