Audible and ultrasound recordings in Panama for the purpose of monitoring bird and bat calls. The recordings were taken across 4 sites in Barro Colorado Island and the Gamboa forest region around sunrise and sunset hours between the 21st and the 26th of January 2023. Audible recordings were made using SM4 song meter, whilst ultrasound was recorded using a SM4BAT song meter. The Parties involved in data collection are listed in the author section. This dataset provides nightly values for activity of two Pipistrelle bat species (Pipistrellus pipistrellus and Pipistrellus pygmaeus) with associated weather and weekly potential food resource data. Bat activity was recorded continually on three ultrasonic acoustic loggers for 185 days (31/04 to 01/11/2014) in an upland pine forest in the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. [THIS DATASET HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN]. Bat species data from the UK Environmental Change Network (ECN) terrestrial sites. The count of individual species is recorded. These data are collected while walking a defined transect using a bat detector at ECN's terrestrial sites using a standard protocol. They represent continuous records (the transects are walked four times each year) from 1993 to 2012. ECN is the UK's long-term environmental monitoring programme. It is a multi-agency programme sponsored by a consortium of fourteen government departments and agencies. These organisations contribute to the programme through funding either site monitoring and/or network co-ordination activities.
