- Statement
- At each site, five sediment cores (internal diameter 8 cm) were taken within a 25 m long river reach. From this core, four sub-cores (internal diameter 2 cm) were taken in order to pair measurements. Sub-cores were stored depending on what analysis was done. All data were collected using standard methodologies as detailed in the supporting information.
