The data were collected in Wytham woods, Oxfordshire, UK during 2020 and 2021, as part of a long-term population monitoring project on the breeding biology and behaviour of birds.   • This dataset contains the time, date and location of when songbirds fitted with a Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT tag) visited a bird feeder fitted with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. We tagged seven species (n = 348), with Blue tits and Great tits being the most abundantly caught. RFID bird feeders were set up in networks of 20 feeders each in urban gardens at three sites in Southern England.
