The dataset comprises 55 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, within the North East Atlantic Ocean area. It incorporates parts of the Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory Rockall via Anton Dohrn (Ellett Line) section and two east-west sections west of Benbecula and North/South Uist. Profiles were also undertaken in the Sea of the Hebrides. The data were collected during May and June of 1978. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.

The dataset comprises 64 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the South Atlantic Ocean area specifically a transect across the Polar Front and transects in two areas on the north shelf of South Georgia. The data were collected during January and February of 1996. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the British Antarctic Survey.

The dataset comprises 24 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the Norwegian Sea, North East Atlantic Ocean (limit 40W) area specifically in Faroese waters during February 2001. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Faroes Fisheries Laboratory as part of the Monitoring the Atlantic Inflow toward the Arctic (MAIA) project.

This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a salinity-temperature-depth (STD) sensor package, during November 1975. It incorporates casts performed within the North East Atlantic Ocean area, including the Rockall via Anton Dohrn (Ellett Line) section, together with the St Kilda shelf edge section. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.

The dataset comprises 3 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the North Atlantic Ocean and the Greenland Sea areas specifically at stations south of, north of and within the Denmark Strait. The data was collected during July 1990. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Lowestoft Fisheries Laboratory.

The dataset comprises 17 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the North East Atlantic Ocean (limit 40W) area specifically around Cape Verde and to the north east of the Canary Islands. The data were collected from February to April of 1972. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the National Institute of Oceanography.
