This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during January 1996. It incorporates a cruise track of CTD stations from East Anglia, into the Wash, along the UK east coast to the Tyne, down the central Southern North Sea, into the Thames Estaury, along the English Channel, around Cornwall into the Bristol Channel and around the Welsh coast to Sellafield. The data were collected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Lowestoft Fisheries Laboratory as part of the Joint Nutrient Study II (JoNuS).

The dataset comprises 61 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the North Atlantic Ocean, Inner Seas off the West Coast of Scotland and the Irish Sea and St. George's Channel areas specifically to the West of Scotland and the NW of Ireland, during November and December of 1999. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Fisheries Research Services Aberdeen Marine Laboratory.

The dataset comprises 60 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the North East Atlantic Ocean (limit 40W) area specifically from all across the Inner Seas off the West of Scotland, during April and May of 1984. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the University of Wales, Bangor School of Ocean Sciences.

The dataset comprises 31 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the Irish Sea and St. George's Channel area specifically west of the Isle of Man, from Northern Ireland to the north west of Ireland. The data were collected during July of 1995. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the University of Wales, Bangor School of Ocean Sciences.
