The dataset comprises 53 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the North Sea and the Inner Seas off the west coast of Scotland areas including specifically the area of the Fair Isle, Dooley currents in the North Sea and in the area west of Orkney and Shetland. The data were collected during September and October of 1988. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Scottish Office Agriculture and Fisheries Department Aberdeen Marine Laboratory.

This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during May 1978. It incorporates a CTD survey on the stations of a mooring array distributed along three sections from Baginbun to St. Marys, Ilfracombe to Castletownshend and NE to SW from 51.5N, 6.5W to 47.75N, 10.5 W. The data were collected by the Institute of Oceanographic Sciences Bidston Laboratory.

The dataset comprises 239 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the Inner Seas off the west coast of Scotland area specifically the Loch Torridon, Loch Shieldaig, Loch a Bhraigh and the Loch Duich, during April of 2000. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Fisheries Research Services Aberdeen Marine Laboratory.

The dataset comprises 20 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the Irish Sea and St. George's Channel areas specifically two lateral transects between Liverpool and the Isle of Man. The transects commenced during April of 1978. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the University of Wales, Bangor School of Ocean Sciences.

The dataset comprises 610 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the North East Atlanic Ocean area specifically between Hatton Ridge and the Ymir Ridge, during August and September of 1978. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Institute for Marine Science, Kiel as part of the Joint Air-Sea Interaction (JASIN) project.

The dataset comprises 9 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the Inner Seas off the West Coast of Scotland area specifically Loch Alsh, Loch Duich, Loch Hourn, Loch Kishorn, Loch Nevis, Sound of Sleat and around the Small Isles. Data were collected during January and February of 2002. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Fisheries Research Services Aberdeen Marine Laboratory.

This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during September 1986. It incorporates CTD sections across the North Channel, an extensive grid of stations in the Firth of Clyde, sections from Islay to Northern Ireland, westwards from Islay, from Jura to Mull, westwards from Mull and from the Sound of Mull to Barra Head. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.
