Meteorological data measured by the Meteorological Airborne Science INstrumentation (MASIN) onboard the British Antarctic Survey Twin Otter aircraft in the region of 67 degrees South on the Antarctic Peninsula during the NERC-funded Orographic Flows and the Climate of the Antarctic Peninsula (OFCAP) project (2011).

High resolution radiosonde data from the British Antarctic Survey's Halley station. The data consists of vertical profiles of pressure, temperature, relative humidity, humidity mixing ratio, radiosonde position, wind speed and wind direction. Measurements are taken at 2 second intervals and the ascents extend to heights of approximately 20-30 km. The archive has data from 2008 and generally there is 1 ascent per day from the station.

High resolution radiosonde data from the British Antarctic Survey's Rothera station.

This dataset contains carbon dioxide concentration measurements from the British Antarctic Survey's Halley Research Station in Antarctica. The Picarro G2301 analyser was used for the measurement of carbon dioxide and located at the Clean Air Sector Laboratory (CASLab). Data times were averaged from the 1 minute data to provide hourly data sets. The UK participation of Southern OceaN optimal Approach To Assess the carbon state, variability and climatic drivers (SONATA) was funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC, grant: NE/P021360/1).

Airborne atmospheric measurements from core and non-core instrument suites data on board the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) Masin Twin-Otter aircraft collected for the Microphysics of Antarctic Clouds (MAC) project.

Ground-based meteorological data from Automatic weather stations (AWS) were collected to observe the atmospheric flow along a transect across the Antarctic Peninsula mountains around 67 degrees south during the NERC-funded Orographic Flows and the Climate of the Antarctic Peninsula (OFCAP) project (2011). These AWS were located on the Avery Plateau, Cole Peninsula and North Adelaide Island.

Radiosonde data measured using balloon-borne radiosondes released from the Larsen Ice Shelf Camp and Rothera Base on the Antarctic Peninsula during the NERC-funded Orographic Flows and the Climate of the Antarctic Peninsula (OFCAP) project in January 2011.

Airborne atmospheric measurements from core and non-core instrument suites data on board the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) Masin Twin-Otter aircraft collected for the Microphysics of Antarctic Clouds (MAC) project.

This dataset contains methane concentration measurements from the British Antarctic Survey's Halley Research Station in Antarctica. The Picarro G2301 analyser was used for the measurement of Methane and located at the Clean Air Sector Laboratory (CASLab). Data times were averaged from the 1 minute data to provide hourly data sets. The UK participation of the Methane Observations and Yearly Assessments (MOYA) project was funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC, grant: NE/N015584/1)

In-situ airborne observations collected during flight 278 on 06 December 2017 by the Meteorological Airborne Science Instrumentation (MASIN) on board the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) Twin-otter aircraft for the ORCHESTRA - Ocean Regulation of Climate by Heat and Carbon Sequestration and Transports project. This dataset contains the core meteorological data from the MASIN instrument suite. Data were collected over the Antarctic Peninsula.
