  • This dataset comprises gridded limb ozone monthly zonal mean profiles from the MIPAS instrument on the ENVISAT satellite. The data are zonal mean time series (10° latitude bin) and include uncertainty/variability of the Monthly Zonal Mean. The monthly zonal mean (MZM) data set provides ozone profiles averaged in 10° latitude zones from 90°S to 90°N, for each month. The monthly zonal mean data are structured into yearly netcdf files, for each instrument separately. The filename indicates the instrument and the year. For example, the file "ESACCI-OZONE-L3-LP-MIPAS_ENVISAT-MZM-2008-fv0001.nc“ contains monthly zonal mean data for MIPAS in 2008.

  • Airborne atmospheric measurements from core and non-core instrument suites data on board the FAAM BAE-146 aircraft during flight 5 for Methane and other greenhouse gases in the Arctic - Measurements, process studies and Modelling (MAMM) as part of the NERC Arctic Research Programme (ARP) project.

  • This dataset contains Meteoric Ablation Simulator (MASI) sodium and nickel ablation experimental data, where samples were heated in vacuum chamber with Na and Ni and detected by laser induced fluorescence. The data are Laser induced fluorescence (LIF) profiles of Ni and Na from ablating particles (powdered meteorite or meteorite proxy). This experiment was undertaken as part of Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) First study of the global Nickel and Aluminium Layers in the upper atmosphere (NIALL) project (NE/P001815/1). This project aimed to make the first ever study of Ni and Al chemistry in the mesosphere/lower thermosphere.

  • In situ atmospheric measurements using the SAFIRE ATR42 Core Instrument suite onboard the ATR42 - SAFIRE aircraft for the WaLiTemp- Inter-comparison of airborne and ground-based lidar measurements for the characterization of atmospheric water vapour and temperature profiles (WALITEMP) project (flight reference: as42). Data were collected over the Montpellier, France. Mediterranean Basin area.

  • Airborne atmospheric measurements from core instrument suite data on board the FAAM BAE-146 aircraft collected for Dust and Biomass EXperiment (DABEX) project.

  • WCRP CMIP5: The MIROC team MIROC-ESM model output for the GHG-only historical (historicalGHG) experiment. These data cover the following realms: aerosol, atmos, land, landIce, ocean, ocnBgchem and seaIce; at the following frequencies: day, fx, mon and yr. The runs included the ensemble members: r0i0p0, r1i1p1, r2i1p1 and r3i1p1.
