These data constrain the age of the section, as well as the duration of crustal accretion. The data cover the bulk of the plutonic section recovered and were generated during post-cruise research for IODP Expedition 335 (2011-2013; PI Lissenberg). Data collection was done at the NERC Isotope Geosciences Laboratories at the British geological Survey. NERC Isotope Geosciences Facilities award IP-1276-1111. The leached zircons and all total procedural blanks were spiked with mixed 205Pb–233U–235U (ET535) EARTHTIME tracer solution and dissolved. Isotope ratios were measured on a Thermo-Electron Triton TIMS at BGS (Keyworth). The U/Pb ratio for each analysis was determined via isotope dilution principles and the ET535 mixed 205Pb-233U-235U tracer. 238U-206Pb dates were corrected for initial 230Th disequilibrium using a Th/U[magma] value of 2.63.
