- Statement
- Data are collected by the stations carrying out the radiosonde ascents and then transmitted back to the Met Office headquarters in Exeter. The ascent files are then delivered to CEDA for ingesting into the archive approximately 1 month in arrears. The ASCII version of the data were provided in support of operations of the MST radar facility near Aberystwyth and are included in this dataset as provided at that time.
