- Statement
- The Land Cover/Land Use (LCLU) product was derived from Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager reflectance Tier 1 imagery. The signature was randomly divided into 20% test sample size and 80% sample size. The 80% sample size was further divided into 30% validation sample and 70% training sample and the sampling strategy was carried out randomly for 50 times. Each set of the 70% (training set) and 30% sample (validation set) was used to generate the LCLU and validate it. The final LCLU was a mode of 50 time LCLU and finally the 20% sample was used for testing the accuracy of Mode’s LCLU.
