Data availability and file format

Data are freely available to all registered BADC users, subject to due credit being given to the data provider. The data themselves are held in CF-NetCDF format.

The actual data can be found by following the link to the 'MACDA data directory' in the Online References section below, or going directly to http://badc.nerc.ac.uk/browse/badc/mgs/data/macda . Once you are there, if you are already a registered BADC user, simply click on 'Logon to BADC' and use your BADC username and password. You will then be directed to the main /badc/mgs/data/macda directory from which you can download the dataset files. If you are a new user, go first to http://badc.nerc.ac.uk/reg/user_register_info.html and register yourself to obtain a BADC username and password, then follow the steps above.
