This data resulted from a multi-disciplinary systematic sampling and laboratory analysis programme from the Swanworth Quarry 1 and Metherhills borehole cores related to the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Rapid Global Geological Events (RGGE) special research topic to examine rhythmicity and its possible causes in the Kimmeridge Clay.
