As time series containing physical parameters were generated, checks were made to ensure that each instrument was properly calibrated and serviced prior to each campaign to keep accuracy and precision within the manufacturer tolerances. Furthermore, the time series were screened for outliers caused by debris disturbing the sensor readings, out-of-water periods, and contamination by the users during concurrent activities on site. All data were checked to ensure reported values were above the detection limit of the respective sensors.
