The dataset includes information on tree diameter and height, scientific and family names following APG III, Above Ground Biomass (AGB), perturbation gradient, altitude, and plot code. The aim of this data collection is to investigate the factors influencing forest change across various gradients, and to evaluate the forest composition of these forests. This data set was obtained within the framework of the BioResilience project, a transdisciplinary investigation that seeks to understand the resilience of forest ecosystems after the post-conflict period in Colombia. A total of 26,387 trees were measured in the lowlands, midlands, and highlands. Yellow paint was used to mark optimal measurement points, and woody stems with a diameter greater than or equal to 5 cm were measured. Taxonomic identifications were made by collecting one botanical specimen per morphospecies and per disturbance gradient. The height of ten stems per plot was measured with a hypsometer, and manual estimates were used to calibrate the remaining stems. The tree height was estimated using the retrieve H function. Above Ground biomass was estimated using pantropical models, and the AGB was calculated using the equation proposed by Chave et al. (2014).
