The dataset is based on the DigMapGB_625k_v5_bedrock digital mapping. Polygons in the 625k_v5_bedrock dataset are reattributed to indicate whether the bedrock is an aquifer, the type of flow through the aquifer and how productive the aquifer is likely to be.
