Date of formal collection initiation, started in the late 1940's exact date unknown at this time. Collection of some samples took place much earlier. Complete borehole data for England, Wales, and Scotland. Gives a range of sample depths for each borehole for digital records, paper records contained individual sample depths. No interpretive elements in database.
