Earliest surveys made in 1960s. Data added whenever BGS is able to acquire it. No information about extent of completeness as BGS does not have information on the total amount of seismic acquisition. Only BGS-owned data may be supplied externally. 1995 BGS Data Catalogue data set id: 356. Mostly concentrated in areas prospective for coal, oil and gas.
