The first compiliation of observatory annual means was in a publication by Bock & Schumann in 1948. The file is updated when new data are received. Additional Information Sources: ROYAL OBSERVATORY BULLETINS NUMBER 134 ANNUAL VALUES OF GEOMAGNETIC ELEMENTS SINCE 1941 (1967). OBSERVATORY ANNUAL MEANS, BOCK AND SCHUMANN 1948. Various organisations around the World that run magnetic observatories supplied the data.
