This dataset contains instream dissolved oxygen data collected continuously at one minute intervals for five sites in the Hampshire Avon catchment in the United Kingdom. Data were collected between August 2014 and August 2015 using miniDOT loggers. Full details about this dataset can be found at https://doi.org/10.5285/840228a7-40a1-4db4-aef0-a9fea2079987

Commission Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010 of 23 November 2010 implementing Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards interoperability of spatial data sets and services
2010-12-08
Instream dissolved oxygen (DO) measurements were periodically downloaded from the logger. Records were filtered on the value of DO using an algorithm that first screened out records using a DO minimum envelope by day and then by using a smooth spline, comparing the smoothed spline value with the observed value and accepting those records that fell within a certain tolerance. This tolerance was adjusted according to the river site and also the month. All records are included in the final datasets, with a flag describing data quality for each record.
