Statement

NRM data for half-core sections and the discrete samples were measured using a 2G Enterprises Model-760R superconducting rock magnetometer (SRM) equipped with direct-current superconducting quantum interference devices (DC-SQUIDs) and an in-line, automated AF demagnetizer. Detailed methods used are describe in the “Paleomagnetism” section of the “Methods” Chapter in IODP Proceedings Volume 346 (http://publications.iodp.org/proceedings/346/102/102_5.htm).
