All samples were scanned with the use of a high-resolution X-ray Waygate Technologies v|tome|x M 240kV CT system at 26μA at the Hounsfield Facility on the Sutton Bonnington Campus of the University of Nottingham, UK. These were then 3D printed using polyamides at the University of Nottingham. Printed skulls were then tested for mechanical stress in a multiaxial loading frame and stresses quantified using digital image correlation. The deposited data are the results and analysis from this deformation step.
