Statement

Soil respired CO2 and CH4 was collected from chambers and probes in zeolite molecular sieve cartridges (Type 13X). The cartridges were sent to the NERC Radiocarbon Facility in East Kilbride, UK for 14C analysis and were assigned a publication code. Values of radiocarbon enrichment are expressed in percent modern carbon. Ages are reported as conventional radiocarbon age with years BP (before present, where present is defined as AD 1950).
