- Statement
- Within each subplot, all individuals of plants over 20 centimetres in height and with a diameter at ground height (DGH) greater than 1 centimetre were identified and marked. On each individual, the closest ten mature leaves to the apical yolk were marked with permanent ink and followed them bimonthly to analyse the herbivory damage at the leaf level, galls, pathogens and trail herbivory presence/absence qualitative data also collected in each leaf. Data were collected bimonthly, over a period of twelve months, totalling six replicates in each subplot, four in the rainy season and two in the dry season. The data were recorded on field sheets. This data was then transferred to an Excel spreadsheet. The data was exported as a comma-separated file for ingestion at the EIDC.
