As data containing physical parameters were generated, checks were made to ensure that each instrument was properly calibrated and serviced prior to each campaign to keep accuracy and precision within the manufacturer tolerances. Flow measurements that were inconsistent with adjacent measurements were repeated to avoid biases. A note was added to flag data point where specific benthic features, such as aquatic vegetation, were present in the vicinity of the measurements spot. Only out-of-range (i.e., negative) flow averages were directly removed from the datasets.
