- Statement
- Field surveys were conducted according to established protocols. Records made in the field for plant cover, height and counts of floral units, or samples containing seeds were collected for laboratory sorting and analysis. Data were entered into a purpose-designed database, via bespoke forms to support accuracy of data entry. Manipulations on the raw data (e.g. scaling up from sample size to total habitat area) were conducted in the database and data were checked for consistency of species names and data entry errors throughout the analysis undertaken as a contribution for peer-reviewed papers.
